The official language in administrative proceedings in Slovakia is the Slovak language.
This means that the Slovak language will be used in the trial. All court documents, including protocols of hearings and judgment will also be prepared in Slovak. Your submissions and evidence to the court must also be in Slovak or translated into Slovak.
If you do not speak or understand Slovak sufficiently, you can ask the court for an interpreter free of charge. The interpreter must help you to participate in court proceedings and to familiarize yourself with the case materials.
