Who should introduce you to your rights and duties and when?
It is important that you know your rights and duties when you are detained and brought to the prison for detention on remand (in Slovak ústav na výkon väzby). Therefore, the prison administration must introduce you to your rights and duties without delay. They must also explain to whom you can submit your complaints.
The prison administration has to explain your rights and duties in a language that you understand, and if necessary, invite a translator.
