The Milan Šimečka Foundation (Nadácia Milana Šimečku – NMŠ in Slovak) is one of the oldest Slovakian NGOs established after the fall of communism in Czechoslovakia.

The organisation was founded by leading Slovak personalities of the Velvet Revolution and was named after Milan Šimečka, philosopher, writer and dissident who died in 1990. Currently, NMŠ is focusing on the rights of various minority groups, promoting tolerance, interethnic and intercultural dialogue and inclusion.
